Chapter 30: 蒙哥马利退伍军人法案 Active Duty (MGIB-AD)

The 蒙哥马利退伍军人法案 Active Duty provides education 好处 to Veterans 和 servicemembers who have at least two years of active duty. 好处 are generally payable for 10 years following release from honorable active duty. Assistance may be used for:

  • 大学学历
  • certificate programs
  • technical or vocational courses
  • 飞行训练
  • 学徒
  • 在职培训
  • 高科技培训
  • licensing 和 certification tests
  • entrepreneurship training
  • certain entrance exams
  • correspondence courses

The 蒙哥马利退伍军人法案 Active Duty is available to those who were honorably discharged, have a high school diploma or GED 和 meet requirements outlined by the Department of Veterans Affairs. If you are eligible, you may receive up to 36 months of education 好处, which is paid to you based on the type of training you take, length of your service, 你的类别, any college fund eligibility, 和 if you contributed to the $600 Buy-Up Program. If you made contributions to the $600 Buy-Up Program during active duty then you may receive increased monthly 好处.
